well sorry if i was a bit harsh, but i mean comeon, that's a poor statement coming from somebody who's got a 900Mhz p2 in his right, obviously he doesn't need anything more then 50watt pos psu to run his right at a max oc. jesus, since when did tpu or any other forum involving technology become a home for wildlife activists, i mean if someone put up a post about a new piece of software that could isolate the human fetus in a chick who got knocked up within days of getting knocked up so they could "stop" the pregnancy, i wouldn't be jumping all over people because computer's help improve the efficiency and effectivness of abortions, and i am very against abortions, it's technology, leave it at that, it evolves, grows, in the case of psu's becomes the topic of an absurd number lol 1600 watts, i could power two computers with that with ease, but the topic of the post was not how do you think the ultra 1600 watt power supply will effect global warming and will it not only cause us to cut down more trees, but it might also feed radiation into our youth's developing minds causing retardation and physical deformities. no it said nothing about that, it was simply a topic for the product in question and it's "technological" feats, thats all. the reason i was so harsh is although by the looks of my post count i haven't been the largest contributor to the forums, i came here for help and most of my questions were either already in another post, or i asked them. but i browse daily and take pride in being part of a place where people might not know me but they know me by my handle, and they comment on the rig's i build and give feedback on the various questions asked and topics brought up, but when people start bitching about other stuff that has no place in a tech forum it makes me wish the mods would be that much more strict because it takes away from the unbiased technical opinion of the item and that sux... ok my 2 cents is in, i'm sorry if anybody was offended. i do appreciate all the help i've recieved over the last couple years from the faithful members of tpu, i am proud to be a part of this community
