1650 crashing on games

The only thing left to try is a compute or encoding load to fully verify it's dead. Honestly I'd dig it's grave and replace it.
Yup time to move on. I'm still thinking a used 1070 is a good way to get a performance increase for the same price as just replacing with another 1650.

There is no place in case for GTX 1070 and power supply is 240W
Ah yes psu is a consideration, but wasn't this card for OP's cousin and not for himself?

Op said he had a fully functional 1050 ti.

Yes, he mentioned something like that in a comment, but not clearly enough. So it's time to clarify this and describe the machine for which a video card is being sought. If possible with sufficient technical data.

Yes he mentioned it was his cousins card in 4 comments. I agree more data would be helpful... I was just pointing out a good value card for replacement. Yes psu is a factor as always. I had mine on a 500w machine for 7 years. I think I saw a video where linus did a uber budget pc where they ran it on a 400w evga unit or something like that. Anyway point is its not exactly a 4090. Was just trying to help as I think the 1650 is a pretty bad value but yes thanks for adding that sufficient power is required for that.

1650 isn't a bad card actually. Had the super version and for being a low power/small card, it packs enough punch for quite a few games at 1080p.

Hmmm, well I can see its value in a low power or low profile scenario.

hello i have a gtx 1650 but it crashes on games or it doesnt show a sign that is working in task manager (it always says 0% use)
QUICK UPDATE :
I used msi afterburner to lower the power clock and memory clock so now its working fine thanks to people who helped me again

If so, either something on the card is failing or my suspicion that the PCIE slot on the motherboard is incapable of supplying the 75W to the card is true.
