i would buy more than one drive.. having all your eggs in one basket aint ideal.. i like a smallish operating system drive and a bigger storage drive or drives..
burners are burners.. they dont last long if u use em but they dont cost much either..
if u want to stay near top end two years is too long.. a year is a long time in the hardware world.. trying to keep a mobo for two years again isnt really practical..
if u just want a fast gaming machine for today u could do it a lot cheaper.. then in a years time throw out the much cheaper mobo cpu and bung in a more up to date one..
for a gaming machine 340 quid for a cpu and mobo is way way over what u need to pay.. so is 95 quid for a power supply..
but its u thats building it.. lots of luck..
check out OC/UK for a good idea of UK prices.. not the cheapest but they have lots of stuff..
