This is my third post here. I think this could be my final build. For anyone who hasn't seen my other two posts I will recap.

This is the first time I've attempted to put together and build a PC. I'm looking to get into some gaming. GTA V, Far Cry 4 and maybe some other fps. Since I've never done this before I'm looking for some opinions on my build from people a lot more experienced than I am. Also it's good to get a second pair of eyes in case I glanced over any compatibility issues (which I'm almost certain I didn't but just in case). Anyways, here it is. All parts are from newegg. A few notes, I am aware that I have a motherboard that supports overclocking and a CPU that doesn't. I just think the Z series chipsets are better motherboards. Also, the solid state drive is going to be nearly exclusively for my OS. Once again, I'm new to this and would appreciate any advice/opinions/concerns. Thanks!

Alternatively if I choose.....

Graphics Card: EVGA SuperClocked w/ ACX Cooling 02G-P4-2774-KR GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Video Card
Item #: N82E16814130921

Will my power supply be sufficient enough? The card requires 600 watt or greater power supply with a minimum of 42 amps on the +12 volt rail. And my power supply is 650W and can provide +12V@54A. I'm pretty sure it is supplying more than enough amps but is the wattage cutting it too close?

PSU is good. The GTX 770 draws a maximum of around 200 watts.

The Killer NIC is just a marketing ploy in my opinion. The difference it may make, if any, versus the normal integrated network controller is pretty much negligible. I'm not saying that the MSI Gaming series of motherboards are bad, but I wouldn't buy one just for the Killer NIC. Just not worth it.

Define "help". It will not reduce lag or improve framerates or anything. For practical purposes it is not better than Intel NIC's.

Killer NIC is pure snake oil except the trafic shaper, which may or may not be useful.

Anyway, if you're going for a Z series board and the top end i5, why not just get the overclockable version? It's only 20 USD more.

Don't replace the Z-97A for a Gaming 5. It's an excellent board as is. You can read it's [H] review.

I'd get a better case than the 922, as I have it and don't like it. Also, yes, get a K series CPU. You can get a Rosewill Fortress 650 for the PSU which is more efficient and better.

As for the SSD, the Crucial MX100 is a better choice than the one you picked.
