The X58 has better resale value, but the AMD system is more future proof and could easily overclock to a higher speed than the Xeon.
Whether gaming or number crunching, the 8 core system is the one I would stick with.

The xeon is a 6c/12t cpu... i think that the xeon is a bit more powerful system but kind of o bit old tecnology compared to the amd system.... dont know what to do

I own both systems very similar to yours and id sell the AMD system personally, the 12threaded CPU is still a beast even today and will beat the 8320 all day long no matter what the clock speed. Besides new AMD stuff is coming out soon so ;)

And this is coming from a AMD "fan" boy

Which overclocks better?

the amd can reach higher oc frecuencies. The only bench i did to compare is in 3dmark in the time spy bench where the xeon has higher cpu score than the amd. (xeon@4.2ghz vs amd@4.4ghz)

What about Unigine Heaven . min FPS ,avg FPS .

from Pass Mark single core :
Xeon X5675 1403 points
FX 8320E - 1355 points

multi core :
Xeon X5675 - 8570 points
FX 8320E - 7454 points
http://cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php

TDP 95W - both

Xeon X5675 - 20% overclocked
FX 8320E - 10% overclocked
Hence the Xeon X5675 system should be faster
