This thread is for all things Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered.

Just bought this tonight on Steam. Thought I could play MWR now, but it's not available as it turns out only PS4 gamers get to play it 30 days early for some reason. The encrypted download for these two games isn't available yet, either. Never mind.

I think it looks fantastic in the trailers and I can't wait to play it. Check it out.

I havent bought any CoD games since MW2. I'll wait till MWR gets sold separately.... If ever.... I dont mind paying £20 for it as it was hell of a good game.

Well my last i "bought" was also MW2, my bro got me Black Ops 1 which i really liked and he got me MW3 which i got bored of fast due to how easy it was to cheat on it... max rank players within 4 days of release... lol

I will buy Infinite Warfare when it's $20 if it's worth it. I don't mind waiting. I'm more interested in the COD4 MW remaster. Probably Activision is pushing the Infinite Warfare package that includes COD4 MW for $100 to scoop up the usual pre-order/day one crowd and then they will release COD4 MW remastered as a standalone a while after that. I will pay $10 if if the remaster is done well.

Last one I bought was CoD 4 and I don't care at all about the remastered version but I'm buying this new one because it has space ships. When I saw the trailer of them off earth I was like....a cod I can get behind.

It is for the single player experience too. I dislike CoD multiplayer.

from what i can tell, i cant buy just WF remastered....only as part of a package deal....

I think you'll find most are biased one way or another by the very nature of your question, they have either played one or the other or both and have a preference.... I've played none thus far and still think I would rather go BF1>MW remastered> COD infinite....

For now you can't buy Call of Duty 4 MW Remastered as a standalone. You have to buy it as a package with Infinite Warfare for $100. There is talk that COD4 MW Remastered will eventually be released as a standalone but who knows when.

I do have some interest in CoD4: MW Remastered, but I recently re-purchased CoD4 on Steam (was on sale) and have enjoyed the hell out of it. Some of my issues with remastered is based on some stuff I read before release, one being fewer maps on release than the original, no mod support and no dedicated server support. Not sure how true any of those still are...but the original runs and plays great on any PC with a pulse these days lol. It has aged fairly gracefully...though it has the reverse issue mod-wise where it's harder to find a non-modded server because of mod support. I don't mind HC servers, and extra maps...but when their server's upload rate is bandwidth limited...they should really cut back on the mods IMHO.

I'll keep an eye out, I doubt CoD4 MW Remastered will be a combo item for too long, and hopefully once it is a solo product will be an excellent SP and MP experience, at least for those of us with fond memories of the original. If you can pick up the original for $5-10, I'd say its absolutely worth it. I think I might have to fire it up tonight after talking about it!
