Today after i installed catalyst 10.3, my monitor would not go back into its native resolution 1920x1080, and will just stay at 1400x900. If i go into catalyst it will only give me the option to raise my resolution to 1600x1200. Also i am running two HD 4850's in crossfire. So does anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this?

Thanks.

Did you install the monitor drivers?

how is it hooked up? is it hdmi or dvi?

i know that with my Acer 24, i have to go under desktop properties in, ccc, and in settings i have to choose the res under hdtv. thats the only way i can get it corrected with hdmi

What is your monitor model?
You have to install the monitor drivers.
The crossfire shouldn't be the issue here. Go for the drivers!
I've got my LG 23'' hooked up trough DVI with the drivers installed and it works like a charm!

Yes, I do have the drivers installed. And my monitor is a 23" LG Flatron W2361VG.

EDIT

It will go into 1920x1080 if I use a HDMI cable, but not if I am using digital or analog.

Hmm...

I'm not running Crossfire, because I can't, but my monitor without the driver would go up to 1920x1080. After I installed the driver it allowed me to go up to 2048x1536. I'm not even sure the monitor supports this, so I haven't taken the risk...yet.

To which graphics card do you have the monitor hooked?

EDIT

Top or bottom?

Plug into the top card. I'm surprised there was any display at all from the bottom one.

Set a custom resolution of 1920x1080
