ID-Cooling looks to dominate the entry level cooler market by giving users a traditional tower cooler with an emphasis on solid performance in the SE 224 XT Basic. Taking things a step further, they add LED lighting with the appropriately dubbed SE 224 XT ARGB. Both versions certainly gave the competition a pummeling.

Looks like a steal when this cooler perform the same as the venerable Thermalright True Spirit 140D, could slap on a NF-A12x25 and it will be perfect.

Snowman 6 for $20

Just turn off argb...

Can we get a separation of air coolers from water coolers, 2 charts and placement of that cooler.

This cooler is basically a slightly worst version of the Artic Freezer 34 (34 has quiter fan but exact same price and performance).

Agreed. Loud fan is really the only con. If you don't want to swap fans but want better noise and simliar price the Freezer 34 would be the ideal fit

As good as the snowman coolers are, they aren't generally worth looking at if you're in the EU.

1. You pay your $24+shipping.
2. You wait 3-6 weeks for a container ship to sail from China
3. It arrives at customs and is hit with a 20% import fee. Now it's $29, not $24.
4. The courier/postal service pays that fee and adds an admin fee on top as a service charge for handling your import duty. Now it's $42, not $24.
5. You have to either logon to a website to pay the fee before they will complete the delivery, or you must drive out to a depot to pay and collect.
6. Maybe you're lucky and the product arrives undamaged, but it still looks crooked. That's normal, you see. They look misaligned in the product images if you take a closer look.
7. Did you get a damaged product? Contact the seller and even if you get one who's offering to send you another one for free, that's another 3-6 week wait.

Alternatively, you can just go to your favourite e-tailer, order a Coolermaster/Cryorig/ID-Cooling product for less overall money, and then have it delivered to your door the next day. It'll be vetted for build-quality and if you don't like it you can get easy replacement/refunds.

Sure, there's a premium to pay for an international brand with local resellers, but that's because they deal with the quality control, import duty, distribution to reduce shipping delays, and customer support for you. That's definitely worth it IMO.
