2900XT OCs

875/980 stable in games, at least for 3+hrs, don't game longer than that so cant vouch, slight bump in vcore about .1v more 70c load at 100% fan though, ouchies, I really need to watercool this thing. lol

LOL @ 100%

My whole desk started shaking when I set the fan at 100%. I can't believe how powerful that blower is.

Nice OC though.

Awesome dude! Get your expensive water block on! I'm sure it will be worth it....I'm think about WCing my GPU only.....

oh its been on for a long time, i dont break 52C full load everything maxed out @ 890core/2350 memory, which is bloody sweet.

soon as atitool is supported, im gonna be damn happy :) cant wait to bump up voltages and see how far i can push my card, i think ill easily go well past 900MHz core, since i can do that for around 30 mins b4 corruption etc sets in. wonder if i could break 1000??? hehe maybe, who can know, but with such low temperatures somethings gotta fly

WTF I don't get it.....I get a driver lockup if I go to even 848..........!!!!???!?!?!?! My temps aren't bad....72C max after AS5 reseat
What tool are you using to OC? Also, are you OCIng for 24/7 in games, or just benches? I can run 860 in 3dmark no prob, but I get a driver freeze after 30 minutes of gmaing ro so.

860\850 not gone higher need a better PSU as the 12v rails are not stable.

when i had my stock cooler around 850 was max core i could go, even then call of jaurez dx10 benchy had severe artifacting, thats about the thermally limited overclock of most 2900 cards, some better cores go higher. but cooling is DEFFINITLY a factor in overclocking, as proven by watercooling, 850 flakey unuseable 24/7 to 890 24/7 stable just on cooler change is testiment to that, all on stock volts

lol no kiddding, my computer has always been an airport (7x 90cdm 120mm sunon fans on water, 3 of them on phase) and the 2900 was just the jet engine I was missing. lol

Never underestimate the power of powerful silent cooling :p

Any of you guys play BF2142? It seems to have some issues with it...I'm locking up after 30 minutes sometimes....can't really put my finger on it... I think that it used to even happen at stock clocks.
I have a weird looking spot on a memory chip that I noticed when I reseated with AS5....and BF2142 is the most VRAM intensive game I have (uses 750 Mb of video memory at my res and settings)
I hope I don't have to RMA.....

Hmm...seems to be an issue with Rivatuner rather than an OC....I read about some problems with it's hardware monitoring and punkbuster.

Anyone running Vista x64 with this card? 512 or 1Gb

mandelore, when is that waterblock going to be available? I need to start saving my money ;)

I get 942/980 Stable 4 Gaming and benchruns @ 960/1020 with higher Voltage.(1,35)

My mem maxes out @950mhz.
I didn´t try to up the Core all the way but <50°C @800mhz shouldn´t be the end of the Line :p .

what cooling?
