I'm looking to either keep my 3870x2 or trade maybe for a 4850, just want some input they seem to be on par for everything except for 3dmark06 which doesn't mean squat to me?...but if I got crossfire i guess two 4850s will be a 3870 and maybe even two of them in cfx

I would go with 4850, the performance is only going to get better with new drivers and such.

i was thinking the same thing, but now I have to get rid of my collection of 3800 series to end up with two of those cards

two 4850s till I finish my school then I'll be able to sell those and end up prolly with a 4870x2 by april but i'm trading and selling my 3800 series collection right now to make some profit to buy a pair

sounds good. those are some beastly little cards.
