Hey guys, i dont know if this is in the right section or....

But anyway im just curious, how can this system listed below can get a total score of 24000
with a CPU score of 49763, can beat my CPU score of 19311 and a total score of 25729?
All systems are stock, not overclocked etc, im just curious. Is 3dMark Vantage BS?
My system is listed under my avatar under system specs.

its physx, his GTX570 contributes a shitload to the CPU score.

get him to do a run with no phsyx enabled in the Nvidia Control Panel

there was a big uproar over it a while back, about scores between ATi and Nvidia cards being non-comparable with phsyx enabled, and there is some truth to that.

notice 3dmark 11 has CPU based physics tests only, then CPU and GFX together, but none of it is able to harness Nvidia's propiatary 'phsyx' technology.

just plain dumb

GA-X58A-UD7 rev 2.0 is one of THE best X58 boards you can buy, X58 being the flagship chipset, home to the worlds fastest CPU.

X58 is better than his P55 anyday, 50% more memory bandwidth potential with the same ram, and 16x/16x pci-e slots for multi card setups, his is limited to 8x/8x

well if yours is 19311 CPU score, he should be looking at 18,500-19,000 at a guess, his CPU is nye on identical to yours but 266mhz slower
