3DMark06 blurry on X1800XT?

Hi all,

Ive an X1800XT. When Im running 3DMark06 its all blurred? Why is that? Its not artifacts, just like bad quality (very low AA, but it should be at least sharp I think?)

Im loading Atitool on start but it quits after loading the profile so nothing is loaded. I tried default clocks but it doesnt matter. Also my driver settings are all to the best performance. Can anyone fix this for me? Or is this just normal?

Also in the Canyon Flight test some colors are completely messed up (in negative). However, the card is 100% good, not broken. Is this a driver problem? I had this problem a while ago, it disappaered (dont know why, I did something), but now its back...

i'd try to uninstal the driver first and reinstal the most updated. and maybe don't start the ati tool at startup.
i've heard of this problem with large lcd's where you just have to adjust the sharpness setting in the driver program. i haven't used 3dmark 06 yet so that maybe it.

I already have the latest driver installed. A few minutes ago I double checked to be sure Atitool isnt doing this. And Im 100% sure, I uninstalled it, but still the problem excsists

uninstall ati tool and old ati drivers
install clean 6.1 driver and run with it?

Uninstalled 6.1's, installed 6.2's (Beta) and still nothing :ohwell:

You know this for sure? I think its something else :rolleyes:

. Because when the image is blurry the colors are messed up too...

Yeah, they're BETA's, but there should be 'something' else whats doing this...

try turning up the mipmap level... mine was on the lowest ,and it was el garbageo

try adjusting the quality level in the advanced section/3d adjustment of CCC see if there is a difference between performance and quality. When you uninstall the drivers are you using driver cleaner pro? Its free just google it.You might try and see what else is performing in the background and shut off each program thats nonessential and see if there is a difference. If after playing with everything else and no fix, maybe see if you have a friend with a pci/e-x16 slot and see if the problem repeats itself or have some pc repair shop test it maybe? If nothing seems to remedy it then return it if you can, if you still have same issue at least you know it isn't the card.
