40" 4k (3840x2160) monitor

40" is TV, not monitor territory. A 40" monitor would be close to 8K class. Monitors tend to cost a great deal more than TVs because of lesser demand. Monitors tend to be far better for computer use (higher pixels/inch and very low input lag).

A GTX 1060 6GB is going to struggle to drive a 4K display in gaming.

They ordered a 1080, which imho isn't going to last in 4k very long.

No space for it i only have 94 cm,about 37" between my speakers, i now have a pair of yamaha hs7

@gasolin Wth dude? Go to newegg.com, select monitors, filter for diagonal and resolution and you get plenty of models (even if you can't actually buy directly from newegg).
I bet it's going to go faster than two pages of people making suggestions and you shooting them down.

97cm is at my limited since my speaker stand are surpose to be in the middel of the speakers (Equal of the speaker on each side of the stands not 1 cm to one side and 5cm to the other side)

Prices are very different in denmark compared to newegg, easily 20-40 % difference on some monitors

And if you get a list of models from newegg, you can't figure out pricing in Denmark?
Plus, that has got to be one of the worst ways to explain why you can't space your speakers 3 more cm apart.

acer costs much more in denmark, more than twich the price in usa

One of best option for customers who want to use big monitor and play games and use him as TV is LG 43UD79 43" 3840x2160 AH-IPS and cost 590-700$.
From my perspective together with LG 38 best monitors on market. LG have great panels and LG 43UD79 is something better than Dell P4317Q but very similar performance.

LG 43UD79 is Vesa 200 and I plan to use him with this hand with option to move in literary every direction.
It's not Curved Panel but it's nice quality AH-IPS, UHD resolution, it's not to wide and it's great and for movies and games.
38 Ultra Wide is more for gaming, special 21:9 option, 21:10 is little better but cost 1400$,
You can buy 2x 43UD79 and mechanical keyboard with Bluetooth - Filco Convertible 2 TKL and Logitech MX Master Mouse with Bluetooth for one 38 Ultra Wide Curved.
I would bought him instantly but before GPU upgrade he mean nothing to me.

First we were looking at a 40 inch, but because speakers magically appeared we get to use 37 inch. OP you really need to stick to one size and stay with it.

Do as you were told earlier, go on an EU site, pick your size, and look for the best male monitor you can find.

There is the Wasabi Mango UHD400 that is 40" but take a good look because there are different versions with minor upgrades .
On the WasabiMango website there are HDR versions too but are hard to find outside of Korea.

I'm glad because I didn't jump on first ball and spent money on 1440p 27" monitors.
They were so expensive in first weeks.. But very soon 4K start to show up and become cheap.
Now people could buy AH-IPS 43" 3840x2160 for 580$ on Newegg. It's not Curved Panel,
No GSync but normal UHD monitor with quality panel is everything what most people need.

Some people use Monitor as TV as well. I have bad in room where is computer. 43' is not big at all if you want to look movies as well.
He is big to stay on table 30-40cm from you. But if you move him back and put him on the wall it's not big at all.
Example my table is 60cm wide, than place for keyboard 20-30cm more, than chair and I'm 1.5 m from the wall and 43" is not big at all.

Spend that much? When im buying a new monitor i have my acer predator x34 i will sell so i don't have to pay so much

I think i could get a good price (here in denmark prices are alot different compared to usa) i think i wouldn't spent no more than 1000$ or 810€

Would 2560x1600 at 30" suffice? Dell makes a professional line of monitors that are very nice (were $1000+ brand new) that I have read are decent for occasional gaming. I actually have 2 of them (u3014 and 3007) and love the displays for just normal working--endless desktop space.

Not at all, way to small a resolution, have 3440x1440 and i live in denmark

I have a desk with drawers, i don't have a table with 4 legs and having to deal with shipping,delivery and what to do with my old desk i would rather not have since i don't have a car.

My best choice for a new monitor is a acer 32" predator XB321KHbmip with g sync, i think i need g sync since there isn't no 144hz or higher 32" uhd 3840x2160 monitors with ips panel (would be to expensive and demanding for my gpu)
