Square Enix has a 50% off on Final Fantasy XIV for Mac and PC worry up

Cool.

As a fan of Final Fantasy (primarily I through IX and Tactics) I really liked XIV. Playing brings back all the good memories I had with their distinctive styling, characters, story, etc. Also has some very good features from an MMO point of view too like how they handle crafting and jobs. Having said that, I haven't had a sub for awhile because of other games getting in the way. Kinda wish that it was B2P so that I could casually play however I understand that a regular revenue stream is very important to keeping the quality up.

Now, I pre-ordered Black Desert but I did so knowing I'll only get 2-3 months out of it (very limited PvP so no endgame for me). Re-subbing to XIV sounds like a good idea after that. I know it's PvP isn't the greatest either, but the game as a whole is pretty good.
