500 watt PSU for 3060ti?

I am a regular reader of tom's hardware PSU reviews by Aris ( one of the most trusted in the business ) the Seasonic GX and Corsair RMx lines of PSUs are the dominant in his reviews of gold rated power supplies ( his words on the site not mine ! )
Yet you fail to understand how much power you need perhaps if you understood the reviews better before giving any advice it would actually be beneficial to people.

I just finished 2 hours of gaming on an MSI Ventus 3060 ti, OC to +100MHz, reaching 2070MHz. According to GPU-Z, the card maximum draw was 208 watts. I used HWInfo to monitor the CPU draw, a 4960X OC to 4.4GHz, and max power draw was 135 watts. I don't know how you got to 440 watts with the PSU calculator, but it is your call if you want a new PSU.
Thw calculator was stating a 440w unit not a system use of 440w. The 440w recommendation would actually fall in line with your findings.

No need to be inflammatory with your reply sir, my recommendation comes from the fact that consumer graphics cards power requirements have increased from 250w to 350w in the high end, and from 150w to 200-250w in the midrange, so since the OP will likely use this power supply for many years why not buy 750w ?

It used to be 650w was the sweet spot for single GPU performance builds and it still is, but with how CPUs and GPU have increased in power consumption and the fact that his new PSU will be used for 3 GPU upgrades ( which we dont know if by then TDP will also increase ) a small upgrade to 750w dosnt seem that bad, far from it really !

You also need to consider the noise output, a PSU that is not strained as much will be quieter

Again, no need to call other a "fail" because they don't see things the way you do, sir.

HAVE A GOOD DAY

Hi,
I've never noticed any.
corsair RMx and Seasonic focus gold comes with 10 years

To the former, The sweet spot is the correct PSU for the OP's needs. As to the latter, that's the OP's decision and not yours.
