I am hoping someone smart knows how to fix this cause I am out of ideas.

I have spent at least 20 hours reading and trying to fix my bricked Asus TUF 5700XT.

I saved my original bios and tried to tweak it to make mining a bit better. When I flashed it with amdvbflash 3.20 I got a ROM not erased ERROR: 0FL01.

I tried to load the original bios I saved and the flash goes through successful but it gives a 0 form memory and GPU clocks. If cannot be modified with afterburner. If I try to do anything with it the pc crashes. Card is not the primary display.

I read that flashing in DOS can help so I tried the original in DOS and had the same problem.

I then tried to download a couple different versions off the GPU bios list and I am getting the same 0/0 on the GPU and memory. I can adjust the power and fan though. I have done this through DOS and windows. I tried unlocking and at least 5 different versions and it either gives me a 0FL01 error or it goes through and gives a 0/0 GPU/memory clock.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

So you know bios mods on AMD Vega and newer are not allowed, same for GF 1000 series and newer, only crossflashing is...

I need white sticker info from the card please. And if possible boot up from a igp/apu/spare gpu and get a gpu-z screenshot of the dead card.

I have attached a couple screen shots. Let me know if it is this is the right thing or if you need something else.
Thanks for the help

Gpu-z is reporting everything correctly. If the Gpu clock was 0 and Memory Clock is 0 and default clock is 1795/1750 in gpu- z you would have a bios problem. It seems its fixed.

This is your specific card

Here is your first problem. If you are not willing to risk bricking your card for a few extra MH/s, don't do it. Just buy another card and add to your hashrate that way. Good luck getting your card functioning again, and if you do get it working, be happy with what you have, being greedy for more often ends badly. Life lesson.

What they need to do is buy a dedicated mining card which are by far cheaper

So much for a reply either

Big thanks for all the help @eidairaman1

Once you told me the memory and gpu were working properly I did a safe mode DDU driver uninstall and uninstalled afterburner which was the program that was showing 0 mem and 0 gpu in the overclock settings.

Clean install of most recent AMD drivers and an update to afterburner and it seems to have got it working again.

Appreciate the help. I didnt consider that the driver could be the issues as it seemed like the same card before and after the bios update for me but at least it is working again.

When you flash the bios on a amd gpu you always delete the driver and reinstall. Registry entries will be replaced and the card should be functional if everything goes right

you probably had afterburner selecting the wrong GPU...

Listen if the regular driver is giving fits, use the Radeon Pro Enterprise driver
