Hey guys.
I use a 7100GS to drive a third monitor so that I can play my games triple-wide. My old XP installation crapped itself and I wasn't able to find the disk to repair it; so I installed the copy of Vista Ultimate 32-bit that I had laying around. Most things work fine, but I haven't been able to get the 7100GS to work. When I look in Device Manager, it tells me that the device reported problems with the driver and was disabled (error code 43). I've tried the latest Nvidia drivers as well as the 169.25 Omega drivers and I get the same problem each time. I've also tried re-seating the graphics card in the PCI-e slot, but that didn't help. Does anyone have some suggestions of other things I can try to get this working?
The following are my full system specs:
Vista Ultimate 32-bit
Intel E2180 (currently at stock due to CMOS reset)
ATi HD 4850 512MB & Nvidia 7100GS 256MB (PCI-e)
ASUS P5E X38 Motherboard
Creative X-Fi Xtremegamer
2 x 1GB GB WINTEC AMPO RAM
