Looks fine to me. Remember, when you are testing a drive that is your C drive, the test will be lower because Windows is accessing the drive while the rest is running.

This doesn't have to be the case. My C drive SSD runs at full advertised speed in benchmarks.

Which SATA controller are you using OP? Post full specs if possible.

Rapid mode simply does not do anything except make benchmarks look faster. An article on another site even went so far as to day that rapid mode actually slowed down some basic real work tasks.

As for your speeds, you're using the smaller 120GB drive, which is always slower than the larger capacity drives. Have you updated your firmware and run the advanced performance optimisation?

those numbers look fine for your drive. Use THIS to bench Your drives instead of that Wizzard software , i speak from experience, i have a bigger, but same model evo as yours, and the software that sSung includes is kinds "iffy"/

Looks fine to me.... I also own an 850 PRO and an 840 EVO.

Gotta love those 5-8 second boot times.
