well one of the items was an 8800GT 512mb card. The thing was non-functional in every system we tested it in. I decided to hold on to it for the cooler just in case. well I heard about the "oven" trick and started thinking about it. I waited a LONG time before trying b/c i really wasn't sure about it. well today I finally got fed up with the Radeon HD3000 igp. its great for most tasks, but not for much gaming. well, I stuck that 8800GT in the oven! I baked it at 400F for 10min.... and... IT FRACKING WORKED!
I haven't even installed drivers yet (hence the missing info) but i'm on my way to download them now!
