Yeah I know that I seriously got an itch for a new video card I've been thinking about new cards since april bought 2 8800gts oc back then, then had to return them due to a move, but Actually if I can just make it to November I think I'll be even able to hold off till next april by then The 4870x2 will be around the 350 range. I already got me a x48 mobo from dfi and I'm waiting for the price of the q9450 to come down don't really care about the overprice nahlems coming, i'll easily take the last generation cpu, unless they got some good price to performance stuff

I´d say 4870x2. The sli seems to expensive and its a dual card solution. Ati said that the x2 solution will be seen as one GPU (hope this is true) and this probably will eliminate those shuttering problems that 2 or more GPU had.
