hello

has anyone used the following https://www.candccentral.co.uk/mod-smart-sata-power-connector-90-16pin-plug-black-82299.html

so that they have 3 or more sata cables running?? im looking at ways to run my 3 hard drives with these angles so that the cables dont stick out as far as the normal connections.

basically i would like to know do the cables just clip into place and can you run more than one on the same cable or do they all have to be off a seperate cable

You're in clear violation of the double post rule ;)

All of the modular PSU's I have (three of them) have SATA with 90 plugs. The ones you linked to look decent, I've seen 4 pin molex ones that do that exact same thing, and you can put multiples on the same line.

Benchmark Scores 2cm mark on bench with a razor blade.
I modded my old PSU with these 90deg connectors.
The blades on the connectors can slice through most cable sleeving.

It is hard to tell if you can attach more connectors to one cable if the cable originally had only one sata power connector and guarantee it will be delivering sufficient power.

If it's strictly providing power to HDDs, you can assume each drive will pul no more than 10w, so peak 40w for 4 drives (3.3 amps @12v)... should be no problem at all.
