9070XT Nitro vs Taichi?

AMD overlcocking has changed a lot in recent years, are you seriously complaining about a 40 mhz difference? That's not how overclocking works anymore, you set the slider to say 3100 or 3200, then undervolt, and it will boost differently in every game. Not sure how you even found the the 3060 number, mine fluctuates all the time on my 7900 xt undervolt OC.

Unless I am not understanding something, your taichi is still a good card.
It's not worth the premium. Having had more than one 9070 XT i can compare differences on my own. My other card, with 3060 MHz default speed, ran that speed in almost every benchmark that pushed the card hard. The same tests, with this supposed 3100 MHz card, I'm getting 3000 or less, while the card also consumes more power to do those lower clocks. That 40 MHz difference, and better cooling, was what I paid the premium for, and I didn't really receive either.

I understand that overclocking GPU cores is basically gone these days, so I'm not really complaining about that. I'm directly comparing two 9070 cards and their differences. The Taichi wasn't worth it.

I mean, while I do believe that a 40 MHz difference is negligible, I do absolutely believe that if you paid a higher-tier price you should expect higher-tier performance. At the end of the day, if the high-end models are not dissimilar to the MSRP ones, they become sort of pointless. Overclocking and really pushing the power and frequencies up was usually one of the main benefits people were looking forward to in the higher-end models.

I have a tendency to like both ASRock and Saphire (that is the Nitro brand right?) cards. I'd say pick either one, based on which one has what you want. So I guess the Saphire? Both are good cards.
Agreed. Both would be a good choice performance wise. So the only question is..

Hey guys, wanna pick one from between this two, both is same price and I’m a bit closer to get Nitro one since it has concealed power connector. In tests it seems like head to head-not big difference over to another but just wanted to ask here, which one have better quality and would be more reliable pick?
With both of those cards being excellent, which one looks better to you?
