FX 8350 CPU with stock cooler
Asus M5A97 r2 Motherboard
2 x 4gb sticks of Corsair DDR3 1600
128gb SSD boot drive and 500gb SSD data drive
Gigabyte RTX 2070 super graphics card
AX1200i PSU
Since building it I just had to swap out the stock cooler. It was ridiculously loud. So it now has a Corsair 240 AIO fitted to the case roof space. This pc set up has the cpu running at around 50 degrees under stress test loading (using CPU-Z stress test) and runs really quietly, particularly as both the PSU and GPU have stop start fans.
PC runs my prefered game, World of Tanks at ultra settings at around 120 FPS on the 27" 1080 165 Hz monitor. GPU runs at 100 load while CPU fluctuates around 70% load. Im very pleased with it, despite its well known drawbacks the old FX is keeping up for my needs for now.
