Have you checked memory stability? I believe 5200 is possible for sure, but I don't trust MB vendors to input enough voltage to do so.

Try y-cruncher 10b and if you really have time 25b.
Memtest failed after 1h30. Gonna try increasing voltage a bit (1.25->1.3V) and see how it goes.

Bummer dude. I am still testing.. but I will never run a 1R setup again. My mems are running slower with 4 sticks but msfs2020 is luxuriously smooth, and others that I have tried. My subs are pretty toight too.. but Aida still sucks.. sorta.

I only increased VDD and VDDQ, got too lazy to look into the other voltages lol
Thats just DRAM. Shouldn't have any effect on stability since it's JEDEC 6400 at 1.1, or does it have a XMP profile?

No XMP profile whatsoever. It also just failed right at the end of the first pass, albeit with way less errors than before.
Any quick tips for what I should do? Just increase vsoc next?
If "read up on that huge github guide on AM5 memory overclocking" is the best answer, guess I'll take it, but I'd rather go for something easy and quick first haha

I will use this for future reference. Everytime someone believes 4xDR isn't that hard to run.

You might be able to get 4800 going if you increase the VDDIO and SoC to max.

Took a lot of work to get 4x32GB DDR5 working on a 285k at 5000 on an Asus Extreme mobo I am not even sure it's 100% stable will know in another couple weeks after more work is done on it.

I've had systems pass memtest etc but not survive real world use... Passed 26 hours in memtest64 at 5133 for what it's worth but backed it down to 5000 to be safe.

Tried 4x48 could only get it stable for 20-30m in a memtest and that was at 3600mhz lmao. I didn't even try going lower told the buyer to go with 128 instead but that 96 might have to be the option.

I would check what the timing is. 4800 is 40-40-40-77, 5600 is 46-46-46 and 6400 is 52-52-52 for JEDEC

I'm curious what Auto 5200 used.

On to your question what to increase, idk what is best first. SoC has a max of 1.3 and only really affects the Infinity Fabric. VDDIO is the IMC rail. 1.35V is considered safe. I go to 1.45v sometimes. Not sure about longevity at that voltage though (really I have any info).

From my experience, I am highly doubtful.

Updated the bios to a more recent one, it allowed me to enable AEMP. After around 10 minutes training, it managed to post at 5200C42 with 1.25V :peace:

I'm more than happy with those speeds, specially given that it was an one-click thing. Kudos to Asus for that.

If only you had waited one extra minute haha
Oh scratch that! Noice!

Though honestly, I have found the impact of DDR5-4000 isn't that bad, as you gain back a ton of latency by running the FCLK in sync. I'm skeptical that going higher is wise unless you can at least hit the 5000's at mininum, and I can't. :(

AEMP auto did 5200 42-42-42 @1.25V, seems similar to the config for crucial's 64GB UDIMMs 5600MHz with their 5200 XMP config.

I'm currently trying out 5200 46-45-45 (same timings for the above stick at 5600MHz), using VDDSOC=1.2V, and VDDIO=VDD=VDDQ=1.3V.
If the above fails, I'll dial the frequency down to 4800 without changing anything else and hope for the best.

I think it's unnecessary to apply 1.3v to the DRAM. Only the IMC (VDDIO) would need a bump in voltage.

Hopefully 5200 works out for you, though 4800 is a more likely outcome.

Unfortunately I can't play along as I don't have 4x64 Micron. Only 4x64 SK Hynix so it's not a apples to apples comparison.

Also your 64GB DIMMs single sided or double?

I saw somewhere that leaving all those voltages the same would be better, so I'm blindly trying it out lol
If that's not the case, I may just reduce the DRAM voltage a bit.

5200 failed already, currently testing out 4800MHz.
I was not even aware sk hynix also had 32Gb ICs, interesting.

Hmm this is the first I've heard about this, but can't hurt to try I guess. 1.3V isn't enough to damage Micron ICs.

Nevermind I confused myself. They are 2GB ICs which is only 32GB per DIMM. So the only comparison I could do is just 4x Dual-rank. Can't match the size.

Double sided.
Good to know.

You have 4x 64GB?

Yup.
Memtest still ongoing, so far so good

Where did you get these 64 GB sticks and how much? I got really curious how far could I push 2 of these on the Apex Encore and the 13900KS. Not something for right now, but might do it eventually as I'll need to get a second DDR5 kit for the other motherboard I have.

Got them from provantage when I was in the US last month, $200 a pop.

4800 passed on memtest overnight, I'll leave it running until the end of the day then I'll see if I find some time to mess with ycruncher.
I'll likely need to properly install the air cooler on it, since currently it just has a cheapo, small air cooler just sitting on top of the CPU (not bolted down) with some cheap thermal paste. I will properly install the PA120 that was meant for it now that I verified that everything is properly working, and get some live linux image going to run y-cruncher by the end of the day or tomorrow.

Try y-cruncher 10b and if you really have time 25b.
Finally took the time to install the proper cooler into the CPU, also plugged in the new PSU for it, and did some proper stress testing. y-cruncher passed at both 10 and 25b. Running OCCT now and will give stressapptest a go as well.

If everything goes without issues, I'll then try to bump to 5000MHz just to see how it goes.
