Adding hardware support to 470.05 driver

Hey there,

I'm wondering if there is a way to add support of the 3080LHR (GA102-202) to the 470.05 driver. I tried using nvcleaninstall but it doesn't seem to work. I selected the setup.exe but I can't see any useful options (see screenshot). When clicking "next" the application just crashes. Any ideas? And before you ask: no - I don't expect the 3080LHR to suddenly have the full hashrate.

You have tried a Windows update CAB package which is not yet supported by NVCleanstall as discussed here:

As the title suggests, I was searching for drivers for 980M. I noticed constant micro-freezing or stutters in-game or Alt-Tab. Tried drivers from 430.x to 460.x and had no OC applied. Then I tried my luck and installed drivers from microsoft update catalog 389.xx and frankly it had no stutters...

Thanks - i found the original installation .exe after some extensive googling and was able to add the device id to the driver. The installation passes without any error messages, but after a restart you can see in the device manager an error message that the device (i.e the card) is not able to start.
