Here's what I got and it seems to be getting slower and slower as more stuff gets added.
DSL from phone company, connected to a 4 port WRT600N Dual Band Router. Downstairs I have 3 computers hard wired to it. Than up stairs have 1 computer hard wired. Then wife and daughter have wireless laptops in rooms use to get strong signal but now hard to stay connected. Have three I pod touches that can be connected when ever. Everything was good until I ran wire up to my computer room using the last port. Seems we have days that are real slow then good days. The laptops up stairs now keep getting booted off and or slow to connect.
Been reading a couple threads here, seeing switches and stuff. What would be the right way to run. Also I want to get like a 6 port or 8 port (MAYBE) router.
