One of my fans seized on my stock MSI cooler, are there any decent cheap ones or is my money beter spent on a rx480?

Arctic Cooling has some decent solutions, but i think you would be better off with an RX 480 or GTX 1060

I still use a Sapphire R9-280X OC Toxic card in an M-ITX build. There's been plenty of performance from it for a long, long time.
I have to agree with getting the new card. There are plenty of better technologies available now and they are not too expensive.
My only suggestion would be to get as much VRAM on the new card as possible,.........I think that the 480 is sold with 4GB or 8GB. Get the 8GB card first.

I do have about a month left on it, dunno if a fan seize from dust qualifies, and then I'm without my card for 2 weeks or so...

I may just spray some deoxit in there and run it into the ground and buy a new one when it finally dies.

It's under warranty, rma it, you may get a 380 as a replacement or at least a new cooler /fan

You paid for the Warranty when you bought the Card !!!
You Now Have A Reason (Genuine ) to claim on the warranty
Unless your A few Brain Cells short of an idiot you need to RMA this card

That's not a valid description of the problem. The real situation is that the card doesn't work properly anymore. It's under warranty, so send it in.
