If you read the entire thread you will see that someone set up a GUI for it you have to download.

What card did you use for this benchmark? It says "DX11 Hardware Detected" and you don't have any DX11 gpu in your rigs

A stock GTX470 in my main rig. I'm still trying to decided if I want to keep it or sell it, so I haven't updated my specs yet.

Think the benchmark is bugged:

These are my runs with high/very high textures. My guess would be it has no physical files for very high textures supplied?

Only comes with 256MB benchmark.pc under envs folder. Don't think full game files will help.

Maybe they'll release 1.04 version with very high too. Not that it matters much as long as people know there is no very high. Kinda like BC2 beta had no high textures :)

Couldn't either and then I noticed I was looking at the wrong program files folder :) This is the default:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Rebellion\AvP D3D11 Benchmark

Okay guys, off topic question...I was a huge AVP for the 1st and 2nd game...however I heard this one sucks (I think it comes down to fan taste) Should I buy this game now or wait till it comes to a cheaper price? Metascore was 68/100 :-(

Review in PC gamer gave it a 65/100. They stated balance issues, clumsy controls and too many contextual actions. That, of course, is just their take on it. You may really enjoy it.

Buy the game. If you like it, keep it. If not, sell it.

The game looks great, it is very simple to play, there arent many things in the game to keep you entertained but if you're a big fan of the series then I can say it's worth playing if you can find it super cheap.

The best part of the game is the marine single player imo. The other campaigns are very easy and very repetitive. The last time I played was right around release and the multiplayer was sooo buggy and slow that I totally shelved the game right as BC2 came out and I have not been back to play AVP since.

I have no idea if the game has been improved or patched for better multiplayer gaming and I probably will have to see 100 positive comments about it to even wander back into the game to see for myself.

If we had the ability to pass along our steam games to other people then I would probably give this game away because I doubt I'll ever play it again after the time I spent trying to get into half decent servers.

The sounds are cool though, the graphics are pretty good I guess but the gameplay just lacks in alot of ways.

I need to upgrade......

that looked pwetty :D

shevanel: i hated marine campaign. too much scripted horror for me.

i agree the game was poor, but the premise makes it acceptable. i just love being a predator/marine and KICKING ASS.

more sane settings
