so i heard 1mb partition space at the start of drive can improve performance on SSDs and Advanced Format disks, might be helpful for my bx500 and my both HDDs are AF as well, there are 3rd party tools like minitool which can do that but i guess it require formatting but i have lots of important data and no space to backup.

The most recent partitioning software which doesn't do 1mb alignment out of the box these days was the Windows XP installer.

I assume you are fine already.

So fist you need to address this. Then stop with the "this will speed up your drive" The 1 mb is a normal part of a GPT format. MBR does not have it I believe

so it doesn't do anything beneficial?

Well it's there for a reason but if you don't have one it's because you don't have a GPT partition. GPT partition is better on a SSD but before you convert any partition back up your data

Check your properties under disk management and see what type of partition style

all my drives are gpt except external

i don't need to check that, diskpart command shows it as you can see it in my ss, btw i think that 1mb it was showing was something else and i just reclaimed it using extend volume command in diskpart :D
