all in one visual runtime, is there an updated version anywhere?

I packaged that myself, and looked up the latest versions at the time. I also wrote a batch file to install them all easily.

If you come across new versions, let me know, so I can update our download.

VC+ 2005 runtimes aren't the latest (SP1 MFC).

If you switch Windows Update to:
131507


You'll get an update for the Visual C++ 2005 runtimes.

w1zz just updated it again! november 2023, i make this a part of my routine on clean installs, but since i did my clean install last week, i will update it now :)

 
Just this very moment after seeing this thread updated to the latest version. Thanks for the heads-up.

lol that is exactly why I gave the old thread a bump, because a lot of people probably don't even do this.

I don't think its 100% needed to be honest, but I already do the directx webtime offline installer, so I figure i might as well do this too

It's needed on my old computer which still runs windows 7. These updates are never installed as OS is mostly out of support & full end of support will end in Jan 2024.
