Alternative Aircooling Ati HD 3870X2

Does anybody have a link for alternative airlcooling for the Ati HD 3870X2. The reason why i want alternative cooling is that the cooling is making a weird noise like it s stuck when i get s over 25% fan speed so any options for me besides sending it back to the manufactuer??? :respect:

Im also looking for a third party cooler but as of now i dont think there is any out there, we will have to wait a little longer.

Tbh its a very good air cooler i cant see any after market coolers doing a better job without lots of noise.
The only alternative is water cooling..

only water blocks and it might stay that way. reseating probably won't help improve the noise so I don't think there is much you can do except find another person with a 3870 x2 and see if this fan issue is normal if not rma.

Arctic Cooling should be releasing one sometime in the next couple of months I believe. It was originally for the 2900 but I read they'd be releasing one for the 3870X2 at somepoint...

Well guys the artic cooler with 3 times a 80 mm fans looks really nice good temp 2 btw something to look forward to. Futher of al the ghetto MOD OMG r u Crazy :laugh:

lol they've butchered it! Bye bye warranty. I'm most probably gonna go water in the next month or two, I'll find £80 for an X2 water block difficult to swallow though.
