Amazing how well one nicely placed fan can do...

I zip-tided a cheap blue led fan on the left side of my hard disk cage...



and...

it shed about 5-8 degrees centigrade off...both in video and cpu. :rockout:



TEMP2 = CPU, and heatsink fan for cpu is on low.

just wanted to let you guys now...:D :D :D

plus this is the first time i am giving a glimpse of my rig.

seems like another crucial step in proper cooling is not just case fans that just blows are from out side, but fans just inside the case for circulating that air.

I might try it out and place it behind the 3.5" Cages...should I? My HDD's are in the Floppy Bays, so it won't help them, but it could help my X800XL a bit...

i ran my fan on full power and case window out, i got around 20-21C!

It didn't affect my temps at all in idle, maybe because my ambient temp is high (I'm in Arizona! Dessert!) but for load I'll check what it's max is..

No, it didn't work for me for some reason...I put a cheap 120mm fan and nothing works, and I'm too lazy to remove it now.
