AMD Cuts Down Processor Prices Paving Way for Bulldozer

The 1090T for 185 is a steal.

Hmmm ... when will these actually be reflected at newegg, tigerdirect, and amazon?

Right now the price is listed at about $215 for the AMD Phenom II x6 1100t.

Hurry up retailers!!! :banghead:

Glad I got my 945 when I did. Don't see any 95w and under CPUs now which hold my interest. If only my board supported higher.

Beats Intel shit per cost.... If the x8 wasnt near id grab a 1100T for sure!!!

Way to go AMD, way to keep intel cheap Moohahahahahah

Complaining about inconsistencies between different prices is stupid because most of the CPUs are going to be phased out. They're paving the way for Llano and Bulldozer.

For anyone owning a AM3, things are pretty simple:
1. If own a low end AM3 CPU and you do not intend to upgrade in the near future, then go and grab yourself a new Phenom II Quad or a Phenom II x6 while they're cheap and still available.
2. If you already own one of those and you intend to upgrade in the next few months, then you should wait for the first benchmarks of bulldozer. After that you may want to go AM3+ or LGA1155(Sandy).

That's what the price reduction is for, that's what the article suggests.

they were updated in norway like right after tpu posted it.

The Athlon II 250 is $61 at Newegg. $3 difference is not much in my opinion, although I hope they cut 12.1% off like the chart says. That would bring the price down to $53, a real good deal!

1055t is €120 here, sweetness.

The lowest priced 1055T here is €138. However, stores near me are selling it for €145-158.

I don't mean to go off-topic, but does someone know of any relevant price cuts on other hardware? Like motherboards, HDD, DVD drives or anything else? Please answer if you do. \m/

Motherboard prices are basically going to keep going up, since there is a high demand for Copper used to make them and with Japanese Manufacturers recovering from natural disasters, production has slowed down considerably. As for the others I think HDD's will continue their slow decline in price as SSD's start to take over. DVD Drives are already cheap as hell so who cares lol.
