So, I did review of 8370E abd after I tried some more fun, for XS and similar enthusiast pages :)

PC build system:

Max stbale settings 4965 MHz+26xx MHz NB! Temps were near the limit :)

But now more MHz and higher numbers :)

PiFast 5352 MHz

Superpi 32M under 14 minutes

Superpi 1M under 14s

Cinebench R11.5

CinebenchR15

hwbot prime 5352 MHz

wprime (not much good)

max validation over 5800 MHz

I like this :D:shakes:

Looks good Flank3r. I'm surprised at the validation using just an AIO. How does it compare to your FX 9xxx cpu ?

Very impressive I must say

With my 9590s its similar. A bit better for 2D (+70-100 MHz), a bit worse for 3D (-30 MHz).
For validation its my second best chip, for hard benchamrk its similar as my good 8350s.

That's kind of what it looked like to me. Hopefully these CPUs will be a bit more predictable. For the last 2 years the 8350 has been all over the map as far as volts/clocks.

up to 4700 MHz its easy to OC, for 30min stable. Low voltage, OK power consumption, thats the difference I mean.

I expect these to be great air/water and junk cold. Its just a heavily binned low leak chip...

Just curious , did you take the stock VID ? I've seen a few now that are below 1.3v and that's the typical behaviour. Up to about 4.8 and that's it for stability.

Without turbo is it only around 1.1-1.2 V If I remember :)

Wonder what they have laying around for ultra low leak chips.

I think, its true. The Stilt is fair guy and very smart in amd technology. So I believe him.

hey Flank3r, can you please test if the cpu/nb speed can be set to 3000mhz or beyond.

I think, 3000 MHz at AIR/allinone is impossible at FX...The best What I had was one FX-6300 with 2800 MHz for Superpi stable. But maybe I will be surprised with new 8370e...over 2600 stable, it could be around 2800+ for some benchmarks too :). But I do not believe for 3 GHz.

That's some pretty crazy stuff, and I'm just sitting here trying to get my 9590 stable at 4.8 :\

Maybe you need more to cool MB and VRM area...

It's stable at 4.8 now, but I don't think I'm gonna get it any higher because my RAM is 2400mhz.
