AMD today released its latest version of the AMD Catalyst software suite, Catalyst 10.2 WHQL, as well as unveiled a Catalyst 10.2 Preview driver that lets you use the latest version Catalyst Control Center (CCC) that features a more functional user interface. The new CCC features a reworked UI that allows easier adjustment of 3D settings and image quality; makes setting up multiple displays easier; and helps adjust power settings to optimize battery life (on notebooks).

Apart from that, Catalyst 10.2 introduces DivX Accelerated support for AMD Radeon HD 6800 series GPUs; support for OpenGL 4.1, including new ARB extensions introduced with OpenGL 4.1; and an updated AMD Stream v2.3 API.

downloading it right now...

Excelent.. I hope they kept the MLAA for 5xxx series. For NFS:HP is a must!

ima wait on these, the 10.10e's are holding strong right now, no need to mess up a good thing

10.12 cats and 10.2 preview? It goes between a 10.12 and 10.2 a couple of times and I'm not sure each really means the one it says...

so in 2-3days yu will have a hotfix :nutkick:

wow this new ccc2 crashes like crazy, i cant even apply certain graphics settings without the whole program crashing. fuck gotta go back to the old ccc

DIVX Accelerated support WHAT ABOUT XVID ITS MORE IN USE THAN DIVX
this lame only 6800 series the other cards are left out

works fine for me now. . . . . .:)

DIVX Accelerated support WHAT ABOUT XVID ITS MORE IN USE THAN DIVX

That is NOT true.... Although it should be for a lot of reasons.

come on MLAA for mobility cards! I can't even find these for mobility cards on the site, I'm using a jipped link I found months ago for 10.6 drivers, I just substituted 10.6 for 10.12..... hope they work.

LOL!! XviD, DivX, Mpeg4 is the same $hit with different implementation! ;)
So (theoretically) any Mpeg4 encoded movie, can be decoded hardware despite the CC attribute(divx, xvid, etc)

Hope these are better with WOW...Ive never had any problems with ATI drivers, im currently on 10.10e but i got wow yesterday and got 6 bluescreens in 4 hours. atikmdag.sys and other bluescreens, I knew the computer gods would punish me for picking up WOW even though i said at the last expansion id never play again.

*checks GPU-Z*
:wtf:
I'm still running the 10.7 drivers...damn these updates increase fast...
M'eh...I'll see if it's worth updating later...

These driver feels great so far, everything is snappy and smooth.

They really need to get a proper designer in on this. It's over glassed, like xp with the zune theme, well even more glassy than that. It's got those really out of place and over the top round bar buttons like safari with the text styling not fitting in at all. It's one of those at first glance it looks better things. In detail, not so much.

So, is Morphological AA enabled by default even for HD5000 series cards just like in 10.10e hotfix?

No Divx encoding? Just playback? I suppose it's better than nothing, but encoding would be so much more useful.

Dammit, no MLAA for 5800 series cards!?!?!?!?!? WTH.

Wish they included calibration software at this point.

I don't see any difference in CCC. Is this the same download as the one in the link?

Go here and download the Mobile checker tool. It will verify your card can take the newest driver and download the full for you.

if your not running 64 bit just go to www.amd.com and up in the right corner go down the list.

My control centre is still the same old one :S

Maybe I need to do a clean install.

Hmm now to download the 'normal' CCC Suite or the Preview

I did the normal ccc after the preview; preview did not impress me.
I am old and set in my ways.:)

NOT TRUE I HAVE A NEW LG TV WITH DIVX certified IT WILL NOT WORK WITH XVID.
IN THE COMPUTER IF THE CODEC OPENS THEM BOTH IT DOESNT MEAN THEY ARE THE SAME
THE PROBLEM WITH AMD IS THAT THIS IS VERY SAMLL AND VERY LATE
