AMD unveiled its new-generation Wraith Prism CPU cooler, which will soon be available for purchase separately, launched alongside some of the higher models of its Ryzen 2000-series "Pinnacle Ridge" processors. The Wraith Prism is essentially a Wraith Max with RGB LED lighting. The cooler features two RGB LED diffusers embedded into its shroud, an outer ring at the mouth of the intake, and an inner ring along the bore of the intake framing the fan. You will be able to control the RGB LED lighting via Ryzen Master software, but it will also support software standards from motherboard vendors, such as ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, BIOSTAR Vivid, etc. Under the shroud, the Wriath Prism features the same aluminium fin-stack heatsink as the Wriath Max. The cooler features fan-profiles for various CPU OC modes, which can be enabled via Ryzen Master. When it starts selling separately, the Wraith Prism could be priced around $49, a $5-ish premium over Wraith Max.

That looks really nice.

I like the clamp mechanism, it's easy to work with. My H110i has it, but apparently the retail version of the Wraith Max has some serious problems where the latches aren't quite fitting motherboards correctly. At least that's what Amazon reviews say. I hope this is fixed with the Prism.

That is hilarious it says RGB heathens.

Need acrylic shroud version for maximum RGB.

Amazon reviews aren't reliable. I haven't seen anything on forums or the AMD subreddit about this issue.

It's kind of ironic because when we first saw the wraith cooler, it looked like it already had RGB but no it didn't. Full circle...?

RGB subject done right. Great mar...keting.....by..A...MD.
wow, that was weird to write.

Price is still meh, and this is defo for AMD purists. there are many 50$ coolers that stomp this.

$49 for a "stock" cooler but RBG? great amd, seems your are getting late to party with nothing special, as usual,

AMD used all their GPU cores and cards for machine learning, and they learned the shitty old coolers that were noisy and boring were noisy and boring. After years of machine learning, teaching the machine to have complex thoughts and maybe even emotions they finally delivered on a decent cooler. It was a long drawn out process, one that involved millions of dollars of research, time, dedicated teams and finding ways to enhance the machine, communicate with it through interpretive rainbow dance, VR immersion, sacrifice of consumer relations.......

Meanwhile every other company just asked their customers........

Errmmm... 39dB...???
Really!

Call me when they put out a 120/140mm cooler /fan
with sub 19dB ... and in case you bother to look
they ARE cheaper than this unit...
