Hello,

I am reaching out for help with an issue I'm facing. I have an HP Zook 14u G6, and I recently replaced the screen with a slightly upgraded one that has a 120Hz refresh rate. However, after making this change, my AMD radeon Pro WX3200 graphics card started showing an error code 43.

I've tried updating the drivers and even changed the operating system, but nothing seems to resolve the problem. Could you please assist me in fixing this issue?

Hello.
As i remember (maybe i am wrong), all the hardware details are in your BIOS.
Since you modded a part (your LCD display), there is a chance that the BIOS won't recognize it.
In fact i am pretty sure about that.
So after you pass the BIOS checking, when windows loads it's drivers, he receives wrong info about LCD.
I don't know if you can edit your BIOS for the new LCD.
But for the moment i highly recommend you to uninstall old drivers with DDU.
Then reinstall them .
Maybe you are lucky enough and the OS will let you use the new device.
It is not related to GPU.
It is all about your hardware change.

I think Imperator is right, just check this link.
Worst case scenario, you have to put back the screen again with an original model. Normally in these laptops there is not much possibillities for upgrades, besides of RAM and Storage.

Perhaps create an account on https://h30434.www3.hp.com/ and get feedback from HP directely.

Maybe you already are aware, but when reinstalling the graphic drivers, the HP ZBook is a mobile workstation and runs the Radeon Pro drivers.
