AMD Radeon RX 7900 RDNA3 GPU Launch Could Face Scarcity, China Loses Reference Card Privilege

Wait till the 13th and we'll see if its nearly as bad as they say.
Sure, but I still don't know through which website I hope I can buy one of these cards? And at what time (NL)? Why can't I find this info anywhere?

well, i can certainly believe the xtx is losing money - when you trade blows with the 256-bit card at 384-bits wide with exactly the same memory chips as the 4090, you can logically surmise they are bleeding cash!

that firmware memory leak also sounds like situation: normal on a rushed AMD product launch - before rdna2, they were releasing new arch once every 3 years!
I'm not sure if you're even being serious but no, AMD isn't losing money on any xtx, xt or any other gpu they make. Also, 4090/4080 use GDDR6X, 7900 use GDDR6. I'm surprised that this terrible article from wccftech/videocardz even gets any traction. Strange.

another paper launch, just to say they released something against Nvidia

There is a point where just click bait articles are not enough to get you enough traffic to pay the bills, you have to jump on everything you can get on Twitter.

And worst than that, there was a guy that was estimating the Bill of Materia for the 7900xtx to around 500$ and he then declared AMD sell it at a loss based on that

Doesn't make sense, the 4090 with a much larger GPU and cooler is still available. Why wouldn't a "simpler" GPU be available?
Chiplet isn't inherently simpler and who knows, maybe AMD already knows that they can't compete so they're focusing their wafers' availability on CPUs, again.

I didn't mean simple architecturally, but they are using 5nm only for part of the GPU.
It is difficult to compete against nVidia's marketing, technology wise Lovelace is not impressive at all, e.g those useless RT cores that fail miserably yet few people are talking about this, and then the prices, the 4090 should be at most 1200€.

They fail miserably? How? They are far from useless.
