AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT "Updated" Spec Leak Indicates PCIe 5.0 x16 Interface

It's never going to saturate those lanes.

No less fake than Nvidia's MSRP's.
A lot more fake but why does that matter. Is it a contest? Amds msrp are laughably fake period, you don't need to drag nvidia into this.

The 5060Ti also uses the "outdated" 8 pin connector.
I'd rather have a connector that isn't prone to melting than the newer connector.
That's bad, I'm not touching any cards with 8pins. Shame on nvidia as well for using the 8pin then.

And like I said you can thank the market leader for it.
The market leader is responsible for the decisions amd is making? Cute. I'm blaming the company for it's own decisions, that's how it works. Nobody forces them to release crappy products but their own greed

What exactly is wrong with 8 pin power connectors? They have been with us for a long time. This sounds like the anti ATX sized MBS vs Mini ITX argument.

With bigger cards that require multiple connectors it's just a mess. For example my corsair hx was a good psu but the cables were horrible and having to manage 3 of them for the 3090 made for a bad experience.

When it comes to cards that don't require multiple 8pin is fine but the issue is that most psus that have released the last 3 years are all at 3 or 3.1 with a 12vh connector.

Of course you would have something positive to say about an 8GB AMD card lol

Carry on..

But its still an 8GB GPU

Not really sure what there is to be excited about :kookoo:

The 8GB card is DOA but there is a 16GB version as well which could be decent if reasonably priced

I'm not saying it's a contest, I'm just saying there isn't any need to single out AMD for their prices while you've been defending Nvidia for their overpriced 8GB card.

How is it bad?
The 8 pin connector is proven to be reliable, while the new connector is still melting after Nvidia said it was fine. I don't care about having to manage 2 or 3 8-pin cables in a build because I only have to do it once with no worry it'll melt or cause a fire. Having a case with a solid metal side panel helps also.

Yes the market leader having a near monopoly causes the rest of the market to increase prices, because they have complete control over the market. AMD isn't going to be a charity when it's Nvidia that has ruined the market with greed and planned obsolescence.

So we agree, amds msrps are Giga fake.

Whats stopping amd from lowering prices besides their greed? Nothing. In fact amd is defacto greedier, since as you just said, Nvidia is selling. Amd isn't, yet they keep pushing prices higher, lol.

Lol, that's what I kept saying in the nvidia thread but people were telling me I'm defending them. Yes, who cares if there is a 2 4 or 6 gb version. Since you got the option to get 16,go for it, no need to complain
