Not really they are also trying to put ati down in every way - i am also no fanboy - i buy what i think is faster this moment

Is it just me . . . or does it seem like they're trying to convince themselves that they have nothing to worry about.

It's nVidia - their new hardware will seel even if they don't advertise or publicize it.

Sure, ATI is starting to solidify itself and take a stand again, but they're still far away from their old level of glory.

That's exactly how it sounds. They need to flip the switch and do to Nvidia what the Geforce 8 series did to ATI.
