AMD Software Adrenalin 23.10.1 WHQL Released

Still getting the drivers reset due to an unexpected system failure each time I restart windows.

Remove windows update KB5030310. MS changed something with it that triggers the crash detection. AMD and MS are aware of it.

You do lose Fluid motion frame support!
Shame. I do enjoy my almost stable million FPS in Cyberpunk.

Oh, only if AMD were a real IT company and provided us with frame generator in real games...

While I agree, "nGreedia" has a perfect track record with driver support as always, and has supported Maxwell (GTX 900 series) and even the 750 Ti (Maxwell v1) on every driver throughout since they have been released. Maxwell 1 is around its 10th birthday.

Anyhow, don't take ARF too seriously

Aww man, my lowly GTX 745 always gettin' ignored thanks to it's famous big brother 750 Ti. Slowest still-supported desktop GPU and can start loads of games thanks to 4GB!

Of DDR3… After they start those games don't look or play fabulous but they do play.

Stay on topic.
Stop your bickering.
Discuss civilly.
Report the problem, we will review it.
Do not report then post some retaliatory post... you will get a warning, possibly with points.
Let the moderation team handle the problems, and don't become part of the problem.

It is pathetic but expected from this company. I don't know how its users still suffer this torture and instead don't jump the sinking ship off, finally.

The most pathetic part is that the RX 500 series is AMD's best selling / highest market share series and they had to first release something meaningful, so that the users would like to replace those with... before ending the support / or trying to. What the hell, AMD ? :kookoo::mad::banghead:

These idiots... they really want to close the consumer graphics department !

What?
Come on, Polaris is already over 7 years old, being supported this long is already a miracle. You can't except such an old product to be supported forever.

You can manually enable it for any game in driver.

Sooooo perhaps check up on stuff before trolling?!

Tell you what, You crack on show AMD , do better than them, when's your GPU out?!.

Sorry, I misunderstood your initial message but accusing me of trolling is complete balls. Not cool.

I thought you're saying they disabled FMF in the WHQL driver completely so FMF is only available in Preview driver.

That GPU is nearly 8 years old guy its time to upgrade.

The question is of legal nature. Does AMD have the legal right to sell a 7-year old hardware as you say with end-of-life support ?
Will you buy it and why ? I would not.

Holy cow, I can get 5 to 7 used RX 570s for 200 Euros... How do they consider it possible to sell one for such a price?

I did mean that, they have no support in whql driver, your reply was what it was,

" if only blah blah blah balls blah blah"

To me, so if you look and sound like you are trolling me, I will say something!? Sorry if you accidentally trolled me though and didn't mean it?!?

AMD aren't selling it. The shop is. The card is no longer in production. It is still supported but it won't get the same driver releases as the new models. It's a pretty simple thing.

So, please stop trolling the thread.

Doesn't fix the regular race rewards screen crashes with a 7900 XTX.
Funnily enough I have playing the crap out of this and have had no issues. I guess that is why they call it PC.

This is interesting. AMD Driver search is no longer turning up the 10.1 driver.... Has it been pulled?

It appears to have been. Probably for the best when your driver is getting people banned from a game.
Interesting. Have it installed on my 6900 XT (your old one actually). Doubt it will do any harm there, lol.

As a side note, there's nothing really wrong with how AMD implemented this from my perspective as a programmer, but... anticheats are known bitches. Certainly should've communicated to get it whitelisted first.

If one is buying a 7 year old GPU in 2023 you deserve it for not doing your homework.

I wouldn't buy a 1080ti in 2023 regardless of the driver situation.

And I would love to see you take this to court.

First it was the Win7 users that got banned and now this shit.
Informative post I didn't bother putting it on as performance is already good with it off.

Gladly I have always been more of a reader than a commenter, because the things I've read here from some people, for the last couple of days, are the reason I have been avoiding every major tech forum comment section.

Also, this fixed my issue with driver crashes after restart.

I can relate (ignore my post count, I get the idea if I don't practice it lol). There are some really bad actors in any given tech forum, sadly. Either way, glad we were able to help with your issue.
