Yeah ok AMD's drivers sux... You have got to be kidding mate. AMD put out 2 ta 3 plus drivers ever month excluding the crossfire x profiles. And nshittya have had what 2 WHQL drivers in the last 6 months... And I can't say that my catalyst drivers EVER Fuk up, cause i'd be lying.

But actually both camps have issues with their drivers, so I'd rather not have the other party write drivers for a card they hardly know about it.

Actually if you had read through his topics, you would see he tried just about everything, and changed everything imaginable except for the GPU. If AMD's driver's were up to par, you wouldn't continually here people complain about them, hell, on these boards I see pretty diehard AMD fans complain about them from time to time. I had almost no problems when I had my 4870, but with my 5850 I have to jump through hoops to get them to install correctly every time I want to update--which is frequently since AMD has to keep patching the ****ing things.

Oh, also, that "WORST EVER CARD", the GTX480, is still close to the HD7870's performance, despite it being almost 2 years old (20 days away). As a frame of reference, AMD's top offering at that time was the HD5870, which isn't really even close to the performance of the HD7850, let alone the 7870.
