AMD Teases Its 7 nm Vega Instinct Accelerator - Data-Pushing Silicon Deployed

I wonder how machine learning chip differrent from workstation chip or gaming chip.

Drivers, bios, this is purpose built unlike the Consumer parts.

Not to mention tuned clock speeds to allow for better watt/flop and usually standard instead of half rate FP operations, ECC memory.

It's a datacenter/HPC card. They don't have fans. So the render is accurate enough.

That is the mi25 pictured, though the 7nm dual gpu could look identical from the outside. Also confirmed to be TSMC 7nm in Jan by Su.

Just wondering when AMD/Nvidia are going to start suggesting consoles to PC gamers? Might as well start now.

not for gammers.. not not of course of course, mmmmm its new design with raytracing acceleration or a downscaled litography of last vega?

¿how many of those can put in crossfire?

So, once again, why do people state this is TSMC and not GloFo?
Given the noice GF was making about 7nm transition, it would be major.fail for them, if TSMC is still ahead.

Any updates on the "leaked benchmarks" in which this 7 nm thing loses to older 14nm Vega?

The idea that TSMC make more $ from Nvidia, than AMD, is highly suspect.
Much higher volumes => more important a customer.
