AMD "Trinity" A-Series APUs Competitive with Desktop Core i3 "Ivy Bridge"

The original steppings with the TLB issues and even worse overclocking performance we no where near what a C2D could do at stock, and we are on a site dedicated to pushing hardware to the maximum, who cares about what stock does.

Pinto VS Evo.

We are both in agreement that the original Phenom I wasnt great for overclocking. Whether the batch with the TLB error was even worse at overclocking has little bearing on the fact that Phenom I on a whole was a poor overclocker.

Saying that, despite the OC impairment at stock speeds the Phenom I could at least compete original Conroe and Kentfield and Conroe C2D at stock in many situations. It definitely wasn't faster than it but it was within a stone's throw.
