AMD WMMA Instruction is Direct Response to NVIDIA Tensor Cores

Farming Simulator also has horrible ghosting, and the disocclusion artefacts are present in Deathloop just not as bad, and for me and many others, they are very distracting. Plus the God of War dev's were keen as mustard to get FSR 2.0 in, I don't believe it's a 'botched' implementation at all, just an early one. I think FSR needs work and to be better tuned.
In Farming Simulator 22, FSR 2.0 provides better than native image quality by eliminating artifacts, producing less blurry images compared to TAA and more detail on thin objects and tree leaves, and improving performance. FSR 2.0 is very close to DLSS in image quality, but performance-wise, DLSS is superior. Speaking of performance, there are some issues with CPU multi-threaded performance, and high-powered GPUs such as the GeForce RTX 3080 will be CPU bottlenecked in most sequences of the game at 1440p and below. Only at 4K resolution were we able to see the performance difference in this game compared to DLAA and TAA.

AMD has achieved the unthinkable—the new FidelityFX Super Resolution FSR 2.0 looks amazing, just as good as DLSS 2.0, actually DLSS 2.3 (in Deathloop). Sometimes even slightly better, sometimes slightly worse, but overall, this is a huge win for AMD.
Sorry if I trust the reviews more than your words, you don't seem to be really neutral.

Indeed, I am also sorry that I trust my own eyes, given I can test both back to back, but then I go to the gold standard in image quality analysis and reviews, Digital Foundry, over TPU's far more limited scope of coverage and even clickbait title choice.

Well I'm gonna consider your opinion on this. FSR 2.0 is new, I hope they do a 2.1 etc. if it's really that suboptimal, so we don't have to wait forever until they do a full version.

For sure, and again I am more than happy with something that isn't DLSS being the lasting tech here, in fact that's just about guaranteed. The 'issue' I have at the moment is FSR looks and performs worse than what I'm used to, so why would I use it in games where both are present. If it can bridge that gap (and hopefully still improve even beyond that), I will happily never use DLSS again.

Yea I would only use it if the game has RT and doesn’t have dlss. So far, didn’t happen. I know Godfall is one of those games but I didn’t play it.
