hey guys,
im currently on a q6600 setup and well the upgrade itch is pretty severe
i plan to get a ivy bridge (most likely a 3770k) upgrade (cpu, mobo, ram) and after searching around online, it'll hit me for at least $500. im a pretty money budgeted kind of guy, so i know if i really want to upgrade, i should aim high so i wont ever need to/have the urge to "window shop" for several+ years
-i dont plan on getting haswell as i read that i might need to upgrade my psu
-is a hyper212+ (not evo) good enough to get the i7 to 4.5? it seems that a lot of overclockers need at least water for 4.4 and up
-i dont plan on delidding, will temps screw me over?
-is spending $500+ on a "dead" socket", silly?
-microcenter is not an option lol
