Another Graphics device lookup failed post

Hello,

I recently purchased an Asus Rog Strix 3080 TI from an international seller on Amazon. I think it came in a perfectly sealed box (customs opened the box apparently...), all the contents seemed complete, I myself removed the sticker on the anti-static sleeve, peeled of the "remove before use" stickers from the back of the card and removed the slot covers etc. It looks so far so good.

Only thing I see is that it underperforms slightly in benchmarks. E.g. Superposition Unigine in 1080p score is about 11800, whereas the lowest in leaderboards start from 12500, though I'm sure this is within margin based on the rest of the rig.

The card is also flagged as Rog Strix 3080 ti in Asus products as well, and it's not marked as fake by GPU-Z.

BUT, the only thing that's bugging me right now is that the lookup fails. I believe this card is a pretty standard one, only thing that diverges from a regular GA102 is that it's an LHR card. And the fact that this is certainly not a rare or an unreleased card worries me.

Do you think this looks legit, or have I been conned by the worlds best GPU counterfeiter? I realize this probably borders on paranoia, but given the market status and the price tag on this card, plus the difficulty of an international refund, I just want to have a peace of mind and not think about this until I upgrade it in 5 years. Thanks a lot!

Probably just another region specific SKU. Is it on a "normal" box? Does it have the same board revision? (back of the card near the PCI fingers just beside ASUS logo)

Oh wait, nevermind. TPU doesn't have images for the "normal" Strix huh?

Hey, thanks for the quick reply. This is the box and the contents that it came in. If I understand you correctly, then I can't see the board revision because of the backplate, but the stickers on the backplate itself has matching serial numbers with the box. The backplate that had the "remove before use" stickers.

So apparently a 3080Ti Strix NON OC version, which TPU doesn't have on the database. @T4C Fantasy?

As far as the product goes, should be legit. Probably just make sure you get what you pay tho and not confusing it with the OC version.

Right, I checked, the listing actually says OC but the product code is listed as non-oc. Regardless, I bought it for a good enough price to be this cautious, so either way I'm good as long as the device is legit.

Yeah your card seems to be the non-oc version

I added the linkage for Lookup to work, also marked the BIOS as verified.

Dual BIOS? Upload the 2nd BIOS, too, please

Yes, the boost clock seems to point out to the non-OC version because it's the same as with the TUF Gaming non-OC card (1665MHz).

Thanks for putting this matter to rest for me, much appreciated.
