Well after Steelseries doing me a solid by backing a product that actually was out of warranty have sent me a Sensei Wireless ( should get it today ).

As some of you may know by seeing other posts of mine it started in 2012 when i got a Xai from them which failed due to double click syndrome after about 7 months which was replaced with a Sensei which lasted about the same amount of time so by time the end of 2013 both had failed putting me way passed the one year warranty that they came with.

I fixed the Sensei mouse a few time throughout about 2 years then decided to contact SS for a replacement part which i was told to contact their RMA department ( which i thought was odd ), so i did that and what you know they actually backed the product and sent me a Sensei Wireless.

As much as i enjoy using the Sensei i cannot help to think if i should keep it or sell it unopened due to the passed history with the last 2 mouses i had from them.

You think it's worth keeping ?,

For a gaming mouse, the first con in this review seems pretty significant to me. But then this review didn't see the problem.

I will repeat what I say all the time about mice and keyboards - they are HIDs - human interface devices - and as such are "personal" items, extensions of our own hands and therefore, that mouse must feel good in YOUR hands. Not mine, not Joe's or Suzi's, but yours. So IMO, you should try it and see how YOU like it, then decide from there what you want to do with it.

double click syndrome

what is "double Click syndrome" ? I have the SS Diablo III mouse (Wired) , and I love 'em... My biggest issue is that I'm a bigger guy, and My hand constantly right clicks the mouse since its SO sensitive..is that the issue You mentioned?

Technically I beleive My mouse IS a sensei ... just a themed one, and This is my second one...since I found a deal on Ebay for a BNIB one for $20usd that i couldn't pass up.

Well i did state i do enjoy using the Sensei so. OOh i know i will like it's the point of will it be in a scrap box by the end of the year lol.

How ever this mouse don't use the typical switches so might last HA!.

Were the mouse clicks twice for a single click. That's one thing i like about the Sensei is that the clicks are really sensitive as to me more time it takes to click more chance you are dead already :p..

O I C .. Well They are GREAT mice... I have been with SS for about 3-4 years now , and I love 'em. I dont care much for theyre SS Engine (the UI part ..functionality seems fine to ME)

If Your ever in the market again..May i recommend taking a look through Ebay if You dont already? I found Great deals on SS mice there. I normally dont make a habit of buying from Ebay, but as long as its BNIB, and from a decent seller Im good to Go. Im glad the RMA worked out for You..iit seems the RMA gods are looking down upon us favorably..

Asrock is sending Me a replacement MoBo that I just found out is also arriving Today VIA FedEx.. :toast:

As far as the Wireless mouse...keep it. Im SURE it will be decent, and Even if Its not up to Your standards...You NEVER know when You might need the services that ONLY a wireless mouse can provide...or as a back up

My stance with double click syndrome is "It could happens with any brand/type with no pattern whatsoever".

So, if you like it, keep it. If not, sell it.
Personally I dislike wireless mouse though. More complication (charging/battery swap/adapter or signal problem) and more weight.

Had mine rolling since it was released. Mouse is working fine, but the wireless charging base went belly up!
At least i had the option to run wired as well I guess. Like the mouse, but it is no longer "wireless".

My brother uses/abuses one of these. It holds up great!

Indeed this is true to my own finding and it's all about the plastic used to push the switch and not the switch at fault in my cases.

Actually this is were be wrong with the Sensei wireless it's only like 13g heavier coming in at a measly 120g. Would of liked it more if it was heavier due to having a AA battery but that's not the case.

Maybe you should try what i did you may be surprised. At least they got the cable right with it unlike with the G700s.

Mouse works great wired or wireless however the mouse does not sit flat at the top right corner so a little weight it rocks back and forth to the back left to the top right :(.

Well here's a pic as clear as i could get it with this light or lack of, but you can see the flash bounced right under the front right of the mouse kinda showing the foot not in contact. And the feet look perfect and the same so it's like the base is not flat as it should be.

Anyways glad i did not sell it for said reason and well i like the mouse except for this issue.

Well hope ya Mobo got back in good working order, anyways not sure if it was you but some one said they did not like the left \ right click on the Sensei due to being to sensitive well with the Sensei wireless they are much less sensitive in fact i like the other switches more ( Omron ).

Ended up using both mice at the same time lol. Sensei when gaming and the G700s when web browsing and playing ED or in Arma 3 editor due to the scroll wheel lol.

As for ebay yeah i seen some good prices on there which had me looking for a possible battery ( 1000 mAh 3.7v ) replacement if this one fails and they are not to expensive but they are normally Honk Kong \ China and don't know if i would trust them lol.

All three Steelseries mice I've owned developed double click issues.
