Thinking about buying this Avexir Core Extreme Green Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-22800C12 2933MHz.
There is almost no chance of me getting it to run at 2933mhz with my 4770K and Sniper 5 MB. Firstly because I know almost nothing about over clocking ram and secondly because I've read in Haswel forums that OC'ing ram with Haswel can be quite tricky.
So my theory is, if I get this ram I have at least got a chance of getting it to run quite fast, anywhere up to 2933mhz. I could potentially end up with it at 2800, 2633 or 2600 or even if I get it to 2400mhz I'd be happy.
What do you think of this idea? Is it worth a shot or should I just get the 2133mhz stuff. The shop has only these two choices and I want this stuff because the green lights suite my rig.
