I currently dont really know if this game is even repairable. it keeps on crashing for me. even though, it doesnt run out of video memory or ram...at least this is,what my system tells me.. but it will start with charakters stopping to talk in video sequences, or more simplier, it will crash. if it crashes, the taskmanager cant be opened, it prompts me an error message, until i close some application, that used enough memory, then it will open normally, so i can kill the GTA process. after that, no 3dgame will work until reboot. sometimes everything fails, because when i kill the process, sometimes the whole screen will go black, and i have to reset
i tried so many fixings..... it still crashes. on AMD it happens very fast (20-30min), on Intel in hours (1-5 hours), but sometimes fast, i use only nvidia cards atm....
anyone got around the crashing error, with nvidia cards? i dont know what to do anymore.... and its sooooo lovely.^^
i tried like every fix, i could find on google, even copying the xlive.dll from system32 in the gta folder... no change.
gta i one of my most favorite games now,even if it crashes so often,please help me!
Even my girlfriend went into a positive fury,during playing it, and shot like 15 civillians and 40 cops with the glock, before she escaped with a stolen police car.
i never got her attached to a shooter before! that was revolucionary!
again, i need permanent solutions,if possible. but 1 or 2 hours,before crash, would be enough for me... ;-)
